AQUACEL^® Ag SURGICAL cover dressing

ConvaTec Aquacel Ag Surgical Cover Dressing 9cm x 35cm - 412012 is a surgical cover dressing designed to provide protective coverage for suitable surgical wounds and incision sites. It combines an absorbent dressing layer with a protective outer covering to support effective wound management and help manage wound exudate.

Notes:​

A post-operative regimen using Mephore™ dressing covering AQUACEL^® dressing was compared to a new dressing regimen of DuoDERM^® Extra Thin dressing covering AQUACEL^® dressing after application of a liquid film-forming acrylate. A subsequent study demonstrated no enhancement of the new dressing regimen by the acrylate. Equivalent performance of AQUACEL™ SURGICAL cover dressing to DuoDERM^® Extra Thin dressing covering AQUACEL^® dressing was demonstrated in in vitro testing.
