Product Description

Biatain® Silicone Standard

Biatain® Silicone is a soft, multilayer silicone foam dressing that provides optimal healing conditions for low- to high-exuding wounds due to its ability to conform to the wound bed, absorb vertically and retain exudate and bacteria.

The soft and flexible materials allow Biatain® Silicone to follow body movements while staying in place while the silicone adhesive is gentle, so the dressing is easy to remove, for high patient comfort.

Features and Benefits

Biatain® Silicone with 3DFit Technology provides optimal healing conditions by conforming into the wound bed, absorbing vertically and retaining exudate and bacteria even under compression.

  • Conforms into the wound bed to reduce the creation of dead space and thereby reducing the risk of exudate pooling and infection
  • Absorbs vertically and retains exudate and bacteria to reduce leakage and maceration of the surrounding skin, supporting healthy wound edges and periwound skin
  • Soft and flexible materials to conform to the body and skin contours
  • Gentle silicone adhesion to stay in place during wear with minimal pain upon removal
