How to Use

Before applying the pouch, make sure a compatible Hollister New Image™ skin barrier is correctly positioned and securely attached to the skin.

Align the pouch with the flange on the skin barrier and gently press the two components together according to the manufacturer's instructions. Check around the connection to ensure the pouch is securely attached before use.

When the pouch needs to be emptied, open the drainage outlet according to the manufacturer's instructions and drain the contents into an appropriate toilet or disposal receptacle. Clean the outlet area as needed and securely close it before continuing use.

The transparent material allows you to monitor the amount and appearance of the output. Regularly check the pouch, flange connection, and surrounding area for signs of leakage or loosening.

When the pouch needs to be replaced, carefully separate it from the skin barrier and attach a new compatible pouch according to your usual ostomy-care routine.
