Hollister New Image™ Soft Convex CeraPlus™ Skin Barrier – Tape, 57 mm Flange is designed to provide a comfortable and secure foundation for compatible Hollister New Image™ two-piece ostomy pouching systems. Its soft convex design gently conforms to the area around the stoma and is intended to help improve the fit and support a reliable seal.

The CeraPlus™ skin barrier contains ceramide, which helps support and protect the skin around the stoma. The barrier is designed to help maintain the natural moisture balance of the peristomal skin while providing a secure surface for attaching a compatible ostomy pouch.

The 57 mm flange is designed for use with compatible Hollister New Image™ pouches. The tape border provides additional adhesive coverage around the barrier, helping keep the appliance securely in place during everyday activities.

How to Use

Begin by gently removing the existing ostomy appliance. Clean the skin around the stoma with warm water and allow it to dry completely. Avoid oily products, creams, or lotions that may interfere with the barrier's adhesion.

Measure the stoma and select the appropriate barrier opening according to the product's sizing instructions. Remove the protective backing from the skin barrier and carefully position the opening over the stoma.

Gently press the barrier onto the skin, starting around the stoma and working outward. Smooth the tape border and outer edges with your fingers to ensure good contact with the skin.

Once the skin barrier is securely positioned, attach a compatible Hollister New Image™ pouch to the 57 mm flange according to the manufacturer's instructions. Check the connection and gently press around the attachment area to ensure it is secure.

During wear, regularly check the barrier and surrounding skin for signs of leakage, lifting, redness, irritation, or discomfort. If persistent skin problems or leakage occur, consult an ostomy nurse or healthcare professional.

Always use the barrier and pouch according to the manufacturer's instructions and ensure that the flange size is compatible with the selected New Image™ pouch. Proper fitting and application can help support comfort, skin protection, and reliable pouching performance.
