Hollister New Image™ Soft Convex CeraPlus™ Skin Barrier – Tape, 44 mm Flange is designed to provide a comfortable and secure foundation for compatible Hollister New Image™ two-piece ostomy pouching systems. Its soft convex design is intended to provide a gentle fit around the stoma while helping maintain a reliable seal during everyday ostomy care.

The CeraPlus™ skin barrier contains ceramide and is designed to help support and protect the skin around the stoma. It provides a protective layer between stoma output and the surrounding peristomal skin while helping maintain the skin's natural condition.

The 44 mm flange is designed for use with compatible Hollister New Image™ pouches. The two-piece system allows the pouch to be changed separately from the skin barrier, providing convenience and flexibility for everyday ostomy management.

This model features a tape border that provides additional adhesive coverage around the skin barrier. The soft convex design is intended to conform gently to the area around the stoma and support a close fit when properly sized and applied.

How to Use

Begin by carefully removing the existing ostomy appliance. Clean the skin around the stoma with warm water and allow it to dry completely. Avoid oily creams, lotions, or other products that may interfere with adhesion.

Measure the stoma and select the appropriate opening size according to the skin barrier's sizing instructions. Remove the protective backing from the barrier and carefully position the opening over the stoma.

Center the opening around the stoma and gently press the barrier onto clean, dry skin. Start around the stoma and work outward, smoothing the barrier and tape border with your fingers to encourage good skin contact and a secure seal.

Attach a compatible Hollister New Image™ pouch to the 44 mm flange according to the manufacturer's instructions. Check the connection around the entire flange to ensure the pouch is securely attached.

During wear, regularly inspect the barrier and surrounding skin for leakage, lifting, redness, irritation, or discomfort. If persistent leakage or skin irritation occurs, consult an ostomy nurse or healthcare professional.

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for use and confirm that the 44 mm flange is compatible with the selected New Image™ pouch. Proper sizing and application are important for achieving a secure seal and supporting healthy skin around the stoma.
