Hollister New Image™ Flat CeraPlus™ Skin Barrier – Tape, 57 mm Flange is designed to provide a comfortable and secure foundation for compatible Hollister New Image™ two-piece ostomy pouching systems. Its flat design sits smoothly against the skin and provides a reliable surface for attaching a compatible ostomy pouch.

The CeraPlus™ skin barrier contains ceramide, which helps support and protect the skin around the stoma. It is designed to help maintain the natural condition of peristomal skin while providing a protective barrier between the stoma output and the surrounding skin.

The 57 mm flange is designed for use with compatible Hollister New Image™ pouches. The two-piece system allows the pouch to be changed separately from the skin barrier, providing convenience and flexibility for everyday ostomy management.

This model features a tape border that provides additional adhesive coverage around the skin barrier and helps support secure placement during wear. The flat profile is designed to sit comfortably against the body and is suitable for stomas that do not require the additional convexity of a convex skin barrier.

How to Use

Begin by gently removing the existing ostomy appliance. Clean the skin around the stoma with warm water and allow it to dry completely. Avoid oily creams, lotions, or other products that may interfere with adhesion.

Measure the stoma and select the appropriate opening size according to the barrier's sizing instructions. Remove the protective backing from the skin barrier and carefully center the opening over the stoma.

Gently press the barrier onto the clean, dry skin, starting around the stoma and working outward. Smooth the barrier and tape border with your fingers to encourage good contact with the skin and help create a secure seal.

Attach a compatible Hollister New Image™ pouch to the 57 mm flange according to the manufacturer's instructions. Check the connection carefully to ensure the pouch is securely attached before use.

During wear, regularly inspect the barrier and surrounding skin for leakage, lifting, redness, irritation, or discomfort. If persistent leakage or skin irritation occurs, consult an ostomy nurse or healthcare professional.

Important Note

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for use and confirm that the 57 mm flange is compatible with the selected New Image™ pouch. Proper sizing and application are important for achieving a secure seal and supporting healthy skin around the stoma.
