Hollister New Image™ Convex CeraPlus™ Skin Barrier – Without Tape Border, 13–51 mm Cut-to-Fit, 70 mm Flange (15304) is designed to provide a secure and comfortable base for compatible Hollister New Image™ two-piece ostomy pouching systems. Its convex design is intended to help improve the fit around the stoma and support a reliable seal.

The CeraPlus™ skin barrier contains ceramide, which helps support and protect the skin around the stoma. The barrier is designed to help maintain the natural condition of peristomal skin while providing a secure surface for attachment of a compatible ostomy pouch.

The 13–51 mm cut-to-fit opening allows the barrier to be customized according to the size and shape of the stoma. This can help create a close fit around the stoma when correctly measured and applied.

Unlike tape-border versions, this model features a tape-free border, providing a streamlined barrier design for users who prefer a skin barrier without an additional tape edge. The 70 mm flange is designed for use with compatible Hollister New Image™ pouches.

How to Use

Begin by gently removing the existing ostomy appliance. Clean the skin around the stoma with warm water and allow the area to dry completely. Avoid using oily creams, lotions, or products that may affect the barrier's adhesion.

Measure the stoma carefully using a suitable stoma measuring guide. Because this barrier is cut-to-fit, adjust the opening within the 13–51 mm range so it closely matches the stoma size and shape. The opening should fit around the stoma without putting pressure on it.

Remove the protective backing from the skin barrier and carefully center the opening over the stoma. Gently press the barrier onto the clean, dry skin, especially around the area immediately surrounding the stoma. Smooth the barrier outward to help ensure good skin contact.

Attach a compatible Hollister New Image™ pouch to the 70 mm flange according to the manufacturer's instructions. Check the connection to make sure the pouch is securely attached before use.

During wear, check the barrier and surrounding skin regularly. If you notice leakage, lifting edges, persistent redness, irritation, pain, or discomfort, consult an ostomy nurse or healthcare professional.

Important Note

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for use and ensure that the 70 mm flange is compatible with the selected New Image™ pouch. Correct stoma measurement and proper application are important for maintaining a secure seal and protecting the surrounding skin.
