Hollister New Image™ Convex CeraPlus™ Skin Barrier – Without Tape Border, 13–38 mm Cut-to-Fit, 57 mm Flange (15303) is designed to provide a comfortable and secure foundation for compatible Hollister New Image™ two-piece ostomy pouching systems. Its convex design is intended to help improve the fit around the stoma and support a reliable seal during everyday ostomy care.

The CeraPlus™ skin barrier contains ceramide, which helps support and protect the skin around the stoma. It is designed to help maintain the natural condition of peristomal skin while providing a secure surface for attaching a compatible ostomy pouch.

The 13–38 mm cut-to-fit opening allows the barrier to be customized to the size and shape of the stoma. Proper sizing helps create a close fit around the stoma and can help minimize exposed skin when the barrier is correctly applied.

This version features a tape-free border, providing a streamlined design without an additional tape edge. The 57 mm flange is designed for use with compatible Hollister New Image™ pouches, making it suitable for a two-piece ostomy system.

How to Use

Start by gently removing the existing ostomy appliance. Clean the skin around the stoma with warm water and allow it to dry completely. Avoid oily creams, lotions, or other products that may interfere with the skin barrier's adhesion.

Measure the stoma carefully using an appropriate stoma measuring guide. Since this is a cut-to-fit skin barrier, customize the opening within the 13–38 mm range to match the size and shape of the stoma. The opening should fit closely around the stoma without pressing against it.

Remove the protective backing from the barrier and carefully center the opening over the stoma. Gently press the skin barrier onto the clean, dry skin, beginning around the stoma and working outward. Smooth the barrier to encourage good contact with the skin.

Attach a compatible Hollister New Image™ pouch to the 57 mm flange according to the manufacturer's instructions. Check that the pouch is securely connected before use.

During wear, regularly inspect the barrier and surrounding skin. If you notice leakage, lifting edges, persistent redness, irritation, pain, or discomfort, consult an ostomy nurse or healthcare professional.

Important Note

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for use and make sure the 57 mm flange is compatible with the selected New Image™ pouch. Correct stoma measurement and proper application are important for achieving a secure seal and supporting healthy skin around the stoma.
