Hollister New Image™ Convex CeraPlus™ Skin Barrier – Without Tape Border, 13–25 mm Cut-to-Fit, 44 mm Flange (15302) is designed to provide a secure and comfortable foundation for compatible Hollister New Image™ two-piece ostomy pouching systems. Its convex design is intended to support a close fit around the stoma and help maintain a reliable seal during everyday ostomy care.

The CeraPlus™ skin barrier contains ceramide and is designed to help support and protect the skin around the stoma. It provides a protective layer between stoma output and the surrounding peristomal skin while helping maintain the skin's natural condition.

The 13–25 mm cut-to-fit opening allows the barrier to be customized to the size and shape of the stoma. Proper sizing helps create a close fit around the stoma and can help minimize unnecessary exposure of the surrounding skin.

This model features a convex design without a tape border, providing a streamlined profile while supporting a close fit around the stoma. The 44 mm flange is designed for use with compatible Hollister New Image™ pouches.

How to Use

Begin by carefully removing the existing ostomy appliance. Clean the skin around the stoma with warm water and allow it to dry completely. Avoid using oily creams, lotions, or products that may interfere with adhesion.

Measure the stoma carefully using an appropriate stoma measuring guide. Since this is a cut-to-fit barrier, customize the opening within the 13–25 mm range so that it closely matches the size and shape of the stoma without putting pressure on it.

Remove the protective backing from the barrier. Center the opening carefully over the stoma and gently press the barrier onto clean, dry skin.

Use your fingers to smooth the barrier from the area around the stoma outward, helping establish good skin contact and a secure seal.

Attach a compatible Hollister New Image™ pouch to the 44 mm flange according to the manufacturer's instructions. Check the flange connection to make sure the pouch is securely attached.

During wear, regularly check the barrier and surrounding skin for leakage, lifting, redness, irritation, or discomfort. If you experience persistent leakage or skin irritation, consult an ostomy nurse or healthcare professional.

Important Note

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for use and confirm that the 44 mm flange is compatible with your selected New Image™ pouch. Correct stoma measurement and proper application are important for achieving a secure seal and supporting healthy peristomal skin.
